Our beautiful and comfortable hostel room was a welcome respite, quiet and peaceful, with thick mattresses and clean bedding. What more could you want after a long hike? It's in an old farmhouse, with a cozy living room and porch to hang out in, and lots of interesting reading material lying around. A kind host as well.
Great place to stay near good hiking. Bunks are comfortable and not crowded together. Bathrooms are clean. No kitchen facilities though. There is a bar underneath a couple of the bunkrooms though and they occasionally have live music that plays until midnight. It wasn't loud enough to keep me awake but some people may want earplugs just in case.
Great place. Owners were very accommodating, night life was great on Saturdays. After bar closes, very quiet and bunks were very comfortable.
Burger night has great burgers, but only burgers so if there is a vegetarian in your party, they are watching you eat. It's 2017 and roughly 10% of the US population is vegetarian. How hard can in be to get a couple boxes of veggie burgers?
Hostel Tevere is the best place for moderate priced lodging near Sugarbush or Mad River Glen. The owners are super friendly and they have a great bar with live music downstairs. Perfect weekend getaway.
